"ARNOLD BENNETT'S AMAZING WOMEN"

Arnold Bennett was an expert at writing strong female characters in all his work. During this film showing, produced by the Staffordshire Film Archive and the Arnold Bennett Society, we will review his most famous women and see various portrayals brought to life in dramatised sequences on screen.

The Dudson Centre stands facing the birthplace of Arnold Bennett - across the road in Hope Street, Hanley. The Arnold Bennett Society is building an ongoing link with the Dudson Centre and its wonderful and unique Museum - the display is set out inside Dudson’s very own bottle oven.

The Dudson Centre and cafe will open at 1:00 pm. The film will begin at 2:00 pm.
