This video features the best wartime films in the Staffordshire Film Archive in both colour and black-and-white: The first recruits marching away, public information films, the pottery industry, digging for victory, Trentham Gardens at war, scouts, church parades, a tribute to the Spitfire and to Baskeyfield VC, the aftermath of local bombing raids, working girls at Royal Ordnance Factory at Swynnerton, Auxiliary Fire Service practice, Bevan Boys in the mines and local life going on on the home front.
