POTTERIES MILLENNIUM HEAVY HORSE PARADE

This was the last of three Heavy Horse Parades held in the Potteries to recreate the pre-war parades. We see all those participating assembling before the main event.

Shire Horses, Clydesdales and Percherons from around the County are featured with their various turnouts parading along a four mile route through the City, culminating with tributes and speeches in the City Centre.

The two day event also featured exhibitions and time trials in Hanley Park, plus musical rides exhibitions and parades

All the original commentaries are featured, plus interviews and close-up filming of all the varied horses and horse-drawn vehicles.
