£12.99

This is a fund-raising DVD made to support the Donna Louise Trust.
Keith Meeson, then Chairman of the Apedale Heritage Trust and Mining Museum, walked non-stop for 60 miles in 16 hours on June 23rd, 2005, to visit every derelict site of a colliery that was once working in North Staffordshire 50 years ago.
A champion long-distance walker in his younger days, Keith achieved this feat to raise funds for the Donna Lousie Trust.
This documentary is a record of this epic walk, and gives historical information about the North Staffordshire coalfield and individual collieries.
There are photographs of every colliery in action, plus rare archive film footage of several pits, including underground shots, plus miners reminiscences of going on shift”.
